Who is... stein kohl, grand duke of frankfurt?
The physical representation of Stein is portrayed by
actor Matthew Fox. Stein Kohl enters the
story as a dead man. He had been the lover of the demi-goddess Godgifu
(Godiva). She'd put a spell on him that made everyone think he was dead
so his family had him entombed in the family mausoleum in Paris. He'd
been there for 425 years when Godgifu died during a spell gone wrong.
Dominic returned from Godgifu's Island of the Dead to tell the Kohls
that Stein was still alive and that the spell was now broken because of
Godgifu 's death. After Avei's funeral the Kohls released Stein from
his crypt. He was given a quick download of the last 500 years by
Vanora but he still is confused by many modern things. He found his
former fiancee and Beloved Carlisle Ross by watching Fuse with his
brother Johann. The two got back together and joined soon after.
